Location: Carmel Sports Club (indoor - Please wear Turf or Indoor shoes)
Why Future Star Academy? Players enrolled in this advanced program receive comprehensive year-round professional training, which is designed to enhance their skills significantly, and they are also exposed to high-level competitions that challenge their abilities. The primary aim of this program is to effectively guide them toward achieving success in the Elite Development Program (EDP) or in higher-tier premier leagues, setting them on a path for continued growth and excellence in the sport.
Tournaments: Academy Players to compete in 4-8 tournaments per year. NY/CT. International European Tournaments coming soon.
Leagues: Academy teams will compete in Summer and Winter Leagues in NY/CT. Based on performance, some age groups may join the EDP league in Fall 2025. Younger teams will focus on training together to win many championships for at least two years before moving to the premier level.
Training Schedule: 2-3 times a week. In April and May, 90% of sessions focus on physical and personal skills, while 10% focus on team play. Three weeks before the first tournament or league, 80% will be focused on team training and 20% will be skills training. Chris Obi will dedicate his time and expertise to training players and equipping them with the necessary skills for success in all competitions.
No Conflicts: : Players in this advanced program can also practice and play with local clubs in spring and fall leagues without schedule conflicts.
The Reason for COSA Future Stars: We STRONGLY believe that each young athlete selected into this academy possesses unique potential that requires the right environment and guidance to flourish. COSA aims to develop talented players from New Fairfield, Putnam, and Westchester to their fullest potential and provide them with exposure in major tournaments and national premier leagues.

COSA Future Stars academy
Overview
COSA Pre-Edp Academy is a division of Chris Obi Soccer Academy. This Advanced Soccer Development Program with COSA is designed for youth players who aspire to reach the pinnacle of competitive soccer, specifically in the elite EDP leagues and beyond. This program focuses on comprehensive skill development, tactical understanding, and competitive experience, catering to young athletes from an early age through to their transition into premier leagues.
